Ye, I did try this because I'm lazy and demand instant gratification. It does work, too; so long as you can keep ahead of it, letting a provoked pig chase you up Outset's cliffside to reach valuable treasure is fast and easy compared to schlepping it all the way there yourself. Unfortunately, once you get there...the pig doesn't stop chasing you. It knocked me right off the island.

I actually tried throwing it and then picking it up again, and I was about halfway there when the pig gets mad andd killed me. I was in the small closed canyon part, and that was the only game over I have ever gotten in that game.

Oh my goodness...
I started playing wind waker after I read all of your comics, and I vaguely remembered this one today as I was dealing with that STUPID PIG! Basically the dude says to take it on a walk, and I thought...that must mean make it run around, and not carry it. But it just kind of stays mostly in one place eating grass...then I remembered--"if you hit it with your sword it will run around."

Yeah. You kinda left out the part that if it catches you it kills like 4 hearts. It would have been game over if it wasn't for that fairy in a bottle I had just recently captured. I ended up running into the water and it followed me and then it cooled down. I'll probably try the bait trick, or else just carry it up the cliff...that thing is more deadly than ANY of the real enemies I've encountered! lol
